Cheyenne Wilson

Cheyenne Wilson, BSN, is on a mission to raise awareness about the realities of sexual assault, eliminate the stigma associated with being a victim of this violent crime, and make lasting changes in the justice and healthcare systems. With a background in social services and a career in nursing, Cheyenne brings a unique blend of empathy, expertise, and passion to her advocacy work.

At 29, Cheyenne wrote and published "We Are the Evidence: A Handbook For Finding Your Way After Sexual Assault," published by Balance, an imprint of Hachette. This groundbreaking book, the first comprehensive resource of its kind, embodies Cheyenne’s decade-long commitment to supporting survivors and raising awareness about sexual violence.

Cheyenne’s dedication to this cause is deeply personal. Her own experiences have fueled her drive to create resources that didn’t exist when she needed them most. She understands the profound impact that belief and advocacy can have on a survivor's journey. Cheyenne actively collaborates with organizations and professionals to enhance the support systems available to survivors.
