THE CPTSD CENSUS
A trauma-informed, survivor-led data project changing the way CPTSD is seen, understood, and supported.
Available every September during CPTSD Awareness Month
This isn’t just a survey.
This is a collective act of truth-telling.
Every year, the CPTSD Community Census gathers real, lived experience data from survivors around the world — those living with Complex PTSD from childhood trauma, chronic abuse, systemic harm, or relational betrayal.
Too often, CPTSD survivors are ignored by research, excluded from policy, or misrepresented by systems that never asked the right questions in the first place.
We’re here to change that.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Your responses will help us:
-
Push for CPTSD to be formally recognized in the DSM
-
Identify gaps in support, access, and care for survivors
-
Guide future programs, resources, and advocacy efforts
-
Create real, survivor-led data that informs policy and public understanding
-
Paint a clearer picture of what it actually means to live with CPTSD — and what healing requires
WHO THIS IS FOR
This census is for anyone who relates to the experience of Complex PTSD — whether or not you’ve been formally diagnosed.
If you’ve lived through long-term trauma, emotional instability, survival-based coping, identity confusion, or chronic relational harm...
Your voice belongs here.
All responses are anonymous. All questions are optional. Take your time. Breathe when you need to.
